Idaho Falls School District 91 has 12 elementary schools serving students in grades K through 6. Our teachers and staff strive to provide students with a culture that empowers, instruction that engages and technology that enables. The focus in Idaho Falls School District 91 is on individual student growth, and our staff is committed to helping every child become a lifelong learner.
Our goal is for students to gain mastery in the traditional core subjects of English, Math, Science and Social Studies. We also want them to learn the 21st Century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity, which will enable them to become lifelong learners and good citizens.
The curriculum in our schools is aligned with state and national standards, and is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and attributes they will need to be successful beyond high school. Students also receive instruction in P.E., music and technology.
The district also offers a number of programs catering to students’ unique needs, such as a gifted and talented program; programs for children with special needs and programs for students with limited proficiency in English.
